This is a 2 x 18650 Lithium Battery Shield V8 Mobile Power Expansion Board Module 5V/3A 3V/1A Micro USB for Arduino ESP32 ESP8266. This mobile power supply has a built-in lithium battery protection IC, which has overcurrent, overvoltage, Undervoltage protection, and the module is a portable mobile power supply that supports 3V/1A and 5V/3A two voltage outputs.

Installation of the battery must be determined positive and negative, the board has been clearly marked positive and negative Or Installation errors will burn out the module. The battery voltage works normally from 3.2V to 4.2V. 5V voltage output rated current is 3A, maximum support 3.6A current (not recommended for overload, easy to damage the module, speed up the service life), the output of current depends on the quality of the 18650 battery.

    Works great!
The shield was as advertised, and is working great so far. I have used it with 3C BAK batteries and I saw upto 5v3A draw on the USB output.
The charging is great too, with a constant 5v2.25A on the USB C input.
    Highly recommended.

The product works perfectly, but be careful when putting the cell in this module, i accidentally put the cell in the wrong way, and then the ic of this module burned.

Though it can be used to power raspberry pi & so, it can’t be used as UPS for any since there is a ~0.5s power interuption when we connect it to mains.

Excellent board. Runs my Pi 4 for ~4hrs while streaming music and web browsing.

Needs a case, which can be 3D printed.

    1. the board is well made
    2. has both m-usb and usb-c to charge
    3. has switch to on/off
    4. DOES NOT WORK AS UPS, which means the load will reboot, when charging power goes on/off.
