With optocoupler isolation, the control signal and the power of the controlled device are isolated, which greatly increases the rigidity of the interference. PWM speed regulation widely used to control the start and stop of the motor. The signal input side can be welded to the terminal or pin itself, compatible breadboard output can be soldered to the terminal or direct wire.

Features:

  1. Compatible with MCU and control board, 3V or 5V signal.
  2. High-level start, low-level stop, PWM speed regulation.
  3. Widely used to control the start and stop of the motor, solenoid valve, and other tributary equipment.
  4. The signal input side can be welded to the terminal or pin itself, compatible breadboard.
  5. Output can be soldered to the terminal or direct wire.

It has three output terminals – plus, minus and load. Without voltage at input terminals, it is in ON condition. However, I see a voltage drop of around 1.5V between “load” and “plus”. Once you apply voltage on input terminals, the relay is in “off” condition and no voltage at “load” terminal. Therefore, it may be suitable with applications that can handle a variation of 1.5V.
