The Direct V6 J-head Hotend Heatsink for 1.75 mm filament is a filament radiator designed for direct drive 1.75mm extruders and Hotend Assemblies and is built to keep filament from melting before it reaches the heat block. This helps to prevent blockages and jams within the cold-end so that it only melts once it is pulled into the heating zone.
The bottom end of the tower has machined thread to connect to the heat break, while the top is surrounded by a shroud to fit a 30mm fan and connects to the extruder assembly. The 30mm fan ensures that the filament is maintained at a nice, cool temperature so that it can be extruded with precision accuracy without melting before it needs to. This greatly reduces any chances of filament problems and results in far better quality prints.

This is not useful if you are planning to buy it as replacement of older v6 hotend head, this product has 6mm threading at exit end. Original e3d v6 hotend head has 8mm hole
