Whether you’re making your own drone frames, car chassis, firewalls, bulkheads or any other custom designs that require high strength, lightweight material, these quality carbon fiber sheets are more than up to the task. Aerospace and space were some of the first industries to adopt carbon fiber. The high modulus of carbon fiber makes it suitable structurally to replace alloys such as aluminum and titanium.
These high-quality carbon fiber sheets plate come in various sizes, made from 100%, 3K plain weave, carbon fiber, and finished with a matt surface on both sides. Unlike many low-cost carbon sheets that are made by pressing two outer skins of carbon fiber over a carbon and resin core, these plates are made with layered sheets of carbon fiber and resin, making them the same strength all the way through.
Features:
- Made of Carbon Fiber material
- Very Strong and Light
- Smooth finish
- High Tensile Strength
- Excellent quality
- Resistance to ultraviolet light.
- Anti-aging and corrosion resistance.
Package Includes:
1 x Carbon fiber Sheet plate 100mm * 250mm * 3mm

I was worry at first if this is machinable. It turned out ok, I could drill easily. However, when I started using it after setting up in my project, I was astonished to note that the plate showed high electrical conductivity between holes and edges! I had to discard the costly plate from my use. If your use does not involve electrical , go ahead and use it, it has good strength, is light, is machinable, otherwise, look so.e where else.

I was first worried if I can do machining ( drilling/ cutting) on the plate. It was found possible to drill with my home available machines. However, after I finished machining and set it up for my use, to my surprise I found that the plate is electrically conductive, it showed multimeter zero between holes! I thought it was my connection problems, but no, even after I removed my connection, it still shows multimeter zero between edges of plate! I had to discard my plate from my application. If your use does not include electric connections / insulation, then use it, it is light and strong and machinable. For electric applications, look elsewhere. Thanks.
