The USB-C PD Power Delivery Board serves as a vital component, acting as a controller board that engages in negotiations with USB PD Chargers to determine the desired voltage and current settings according to your preferences.
This versatile board finds application in a wide range of scenarios where USB-C is required to power your project or device. It simplifies the process with a user-friendly DIP switch, enabling you to effortlessly select your desired output voltage or current rating from the USB PD Charger.
The board is equipped with an on-board DC-DC converter, which can supply either 5V or 3.3V based on the selected jumper configuration, delivering around 3.3W of power. For even greater power requirements, you can harness more power from the DC-DC Converter when the USB PD voltage is lower (e.g., 9V, 12V) or by using an external heatsink.
The board offers the convenience of voltage and current selection and monitoring through an I2C interface, accessible via the 4-Pin header. Its compact dimensions (50mm x 35mm), USB-C input, four mounting holes, and LED indicators for USB-C Input, USB PD Output, and DC-DC Converter Output make it a compact and efficient solution for your power delivery needs.
