The PIR Motion Sensor Detector Module HC SR501 allows you to sense motion. It is almost always used to detect the motion of a human body within the sensor’s range. It is often referred to using “PIR”, “Pyroelectric”, “Passive Infrared” and “IR Motion” sensors.

The module has an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens. It has a delay time adjustment Potentiometer and sensitivity adjustment Potentiometer. Compatible with ARDUINO, RASPBERRY PI, AVR, PIC, 8051, etc.

    Fantastic…
    But the set which comes with 4 electrolyte capacitors at four sides…is good…
    Sometimes same set without capacitors are also sent, they’re not so sensitive…
    Please keep it in mind…

    i ordered two of it and both are not working . i am giving 5v to sensor and the output is not responding . the transistor is getting heated . the return policy is not good as i have to ship the item back by myself . seller should pick the defected item like other websites do . i am dissatisfied with product and return service .

    Have not used this yet in my project. packaging was good and delivery was quick. just one thing i would like to mention is that the description states that single /multiple trigger jumper is available, whereas the actual product has no such jumpers. just two solder pads for us to permanently select single or multiple trigger
