The advantages of the Core Board STM8S103F3P6 STM8 Development Board Minimum System Board is this development board uses the Micro USB to link to the power. The Micro USB line is compatible with Smartphone cable which means we can get the data easily.  We do not use the USB MINI cable to link to power because the USB MINI cable has out of style and very difficult to get.

This STM8S development board draws our attention because of its low price, humanity design and available with complete information.

You can use 2.54 pin on the board or power supply pad, the pad when using the power supply, input voltage range 4.5V-15V can output to the outside through pin 3.3V!

This development board using MicroUSB cable supply, compatible with smartphone lines, data lines are simple and easy to get, but not USB MINI line-powered, USB MINI line is not easy to find, has been gradually phased out. Other manufacturers of products are used in MINI-USB port, this is not applicable for customers.

Note!! 5V pin’s voltage is the input voltage of the module.
Performance comparison:

EEPROM: The STM8S003F3 has 128 bytes, while the STM8S103F3 has 640 bytes.
Flash Erase: STM8S003F3 100 times, while the STM8S103F3 has 10000 times.
Flash: The STM8S103F2 only has 4K bytes, while the STM8S103F3 has 8K bytes.
Conclusion: STM8S003F3 is only suitable for mature products, while the STM8S103F3 can be used to develop new function according to our request.
