ATMEGA2560-16AU is an 8-bit microcontroller with 16/32/64KB in-system programmable flash. Peripheral features such as two 8bit timer/counters with separate Prescaler and compare modes, Four 16bit timer/counters with separate Prescaler, compare and capture modes, real-time counter with a separate oscillator, four 8bit PWM channels, output compare modulator, 16 channel, 10bit ADC, SPI serial interface, Byte Oriented 2-wire serial interface, programmable watchdog timer with a separate on-chip oscillator, on-chip Analog comparator, interrupt and wake-up on pin change. The special microcontroller features power-on reset and programmable brown-out detection, an internal calibrated oscillator, external and internal interrupt sources, and six sleep modes: Idle, ADC noise reduction, power-save, power-down, standby, and extended standby.
